The GL5 unit was installed centrally within the vessel to maximise stabilisation efficiency and maintain optiml weight distribution. A rigid mounting frame was fabricated to transfer loads directly into the vessel's primary structure, ensuring long term durability in demanding marine conditions. Key considerations included:

• Maintaining access for service and inspection
• Managing airflow for thermal efficiency
• Integrating with existing electrical infrastructure
• Minimising impact on onboard storage

The complete retrofit was completed within three working days.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Axopar 37 is regularly used for coastal cruising and day trips in exposed waters, where natural roll at anchor and in beam seas can quickly reduce comfort on board. The owner wanted a solution that would allow longer stays at anchor and a more stable platform for guests, without compromising performace or usable space.
