Located in Farnham, UK, Gyroline has been constructed through the foundations of Kinetrol, a cornerstone of smooth motion mechanisms, now taking its expertise and technology to the marine industry.
Established in 1958 by a group of visionary aircraft engineers, our company Kinetrol has steadily grown to encompass three sites in the UK, boasting a workforce of 200 employees, along with 70 talented individuals overseas.
With a rich history spanning over 50 years, kinetrol has been supplying the process industry with top-notch solutions.
Our expertise lies in manufacturing rotary hydraulic dampers (dashpots), pneumatic actuators, and cutting-edge control electronics.
Over the years, we’ve established ourselves as trusted partners to industry giants such as Total, Dow, Ineos, Siemens, The Macallan, Audi, Tata Steel, and BP.
Kinetrol manufactures over 10,000 parts in-house for its existing products, ensuring careful quality control and prompt customization.
All parts can be machine-finished in-house, reflecting our commitment to precision engineering and efficiency. Additionally, all castings are sourced within the UK, supporting local industries and ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards.
At kinetrol, we operate state-of-the-art facilities equipped with vertical and horizontal bed machining centers, CNC lathes, high-pressure die-casting machines, 7-axis industrial robots, a paint shop, PCB assembly lines, welding shops, and CMM inspection machines, among others.Â
